Handling of Weapon & Shooting Test

                   

STANDARD SECURITY MEASURES

 

·             All weapons shall be handled as if they are loaded.

·             Never point a weapon at somebody or something unless you intend to use it.

·             Always keep the finger outside the trigger guard until the weapon is aimed and centered at the target.

·             Keep your weapon in the holster, until the instructor gives you a command.

 

Handling of Weapons and shooting Test

 

The handling of weapons and shooting will consist of three parts.

 

·             Disassemble and reassemble the firearm within five minutes.

·             Draw from holster at the five-meter line.

·             Low ready position at the seven-meter line.

 

The candidates must pass each part of the test to be able to continue with the next part. Throughout the whole test the instructors are checking the candidates safe weapon handling. If anyone is showing unsafe handling at range the candidate will be taken away from the range.

 

Part II

Test

 

·             5-meter line

·             Magazine with five rounds.

·             Five seconds per round

·             Secure /de- cock your weapon and re-holster after each round.

 

Requirements

A Minimum of four rounds in the target.

Commands 

 

·             Load your magazine with five rounds.

·             Put your ear protectors on

·             Load your weapon and secure /de-cock.

·             FIRE!

·             STOP!

 

You will pass the test if you have a minimum of four rounds on the target.

 

You will fail the test if you: Don’t follow standard security measures if you don’t have at least four rounds on the target, within the set time.

Load your magazine with more than five rounds or shoot more than five rounds.

 

Failure of this part will mean you fail the whole test, and you will not be allowed to continue.

 

Part III

·             7-meter line

·             Magazine with five rounds

·             Five seconds per round

·             Keep the weapon in low ready position and secure /de-clock the weapon after each round.

 

Requirements

·             Load your magazine with five rounds.

·             Put your ear protectors on

·             Load your weapon and secure /de-cock.

·             FIRE!

·             STOP!
