PATROL REPORT
On the 12th
of August 2014, Block Development Officer (BDO) named Eric
Jean-Louis, went to the
District Police Station, and lodged a complaint which was about
extortion and mental torture. He further said that there were two more persons who allegedly received the

to kill if they reported the incident to police. Based on the complaint lodged
by the BOO on Wednesday, a police patrol with call sign, Gulf 23, was mobilized
around the city in search of the extortionists. Seven police officers especially trained for controlling the mob,
miscreants and extortionists were in the patrol team. Police tracked down the
callers by mobile tracking system in the early
morning of the next day. During the investigation, police obtained the phone number used by extortionists as 96315864. The same number was found to be used for all the victims. The number was in the name of Brata. During the search, when police saw Brata, he fled and disappeared
at once. Police continued to chase
him and got him on Friday morning from Joai Motorbike Workshop. He was hiding
there.
